Rise Up. Speak Up. Join Up.

After last week’s brutal murders in Atlanta, GA, the first #StopAsianHate rally in New Jersey will be held at 1pm, March 27, 2021 at Hinds Plaza, Princeton, New Jersey.  The rally is organized by Princeton Chinese Community, a grassroots organization led by Cecilia Xie Birge, former mayor of Montgomery Township New Jersey as well as other community activists including Xiaobing Li and Xu Cheng from Princeton and other volunteers in the surrounding areas.  The group mobilized the Asian community at the beginning of the pandemic, raised more than $20,000 in less than a week and donated thousands of N-95 masks to local hospitals. It also helped organize a massive food drive at the beginning of the COVID crisis to help alleviate the issue of food shortage.  As of today (3.22.2021), close to 20 community organizations have signed up to co-sponsor the vigil/rally.
